EZ Pass Phishing Scam

SANS Internet Storm Center blog has an entry about phishing email pretending to come from EZ-Pass.  The bait email alleges you're overdue to pay your tolls.

If your EZ-Pass account works like mine, they automatically charge your credit card when the balance gets low.  As long as you haven't cancelled or maxed out your card, there's no way for that bill to go overdue.  If you're not sure and want to check your EZ-Pass account, the web address is http://ezpassde.com; if you are an account holder, you should add that to your "favorites" or "bookmarks", and use that link to check your account instead of links provided in the email.
